Spread 156 – House – Home

December 2013 – 24 January 2014

Vintage and personal images, tracing paper image, handmade papers, matte medium, Nova Color acrylic paint, black and white gesso, sharpie poster paint pens, Sigano white gel pen, black Micron pen, Sharpie china marker, Peerless water colors.

For me my pages take time, a little here addition here and there. Trying things, additions, subtraction, some eradication.  I have learned to give into my process. I have learned to honor my process and how I work best. Once I did that it freed me. Sometimes the pages come quickly. Sometimes not so much. Sweet freedom.

my pages happen the same way… two pages a month are all I could handle… it takes a while for the energy to settle on the page.. well done… like your selfies..

Like it. Two halves not fitting together, yet oddly fitting together… Good things take time.

Love how you describe process and letting go, surrendering to it. You are creating amazing pages! I am captivated by the image of you juxtaposed with the skeleton and then I am pulled back to the left hand side again…!
