Spread 140 Cover Story – Part 2
23 August 2013
Dyan Reavereley’s new art journal, Vintage and personal images, Nova Color acrylic paints, Adirondack Color Wash sprays, matt medium.
This is the cover of my newest art journal. Don’t you just love the promise of a new art journal? All those empty pages, waiting to be filled. The cover needs a bit more personalization I feel. Perhaps it will completely change? Who knows?
I am off to a two day art retreat with some friends! Happy weekend!

I don’t know about the cover needing anything else. It sure looks cool to me!
I like your cover painting. Have fun at your art retreat.
Aloha, Kate
Always exciting to start a new journal. And your cover is the perfect way to begin.
Wonderful Cover Brian! This one reminds me so much of Nick Bantock’s work. Do you remember the Giffin and Sabine series of books? Looking forward to seeing your new spreads in this!
Funny–you commented too. Hearts to you, my favorite Mr. Garrett.
