Spread 106 – Scavenger Hunt

8 September 2012

Vintage and personal papers, matte medium, acrylic paint, Tim Holtz Distress Ink, matte varnish, Signo white pen, black gel pen, red Sharpie poster pen.

When I was young my older brother would make me elaborate scavenger hunt maps. These maps would send us on adventures on our farm and neighborhood that would take all day long. I look back on this memory fondly of my time with my brother and bonding over these adventures. I had long forgotten this memory until I sat down a few days ago to work on an assignment for part of Orly’s class today. This spread is from that class. How many memories are locked away in my personal maps?
