Spread 0070 – Earth/Sky

Spread 0070 – “Earth/Sky”

Tape, vintage papers and personal papers, acrylic paint, Adirondack color wash sprays, black gel pens, Sigano white gel pens.

03 March, 2012.

You will always find in my art something grungy, this comes from my father. You will also always find something of nature and this comes from my mother. When I was very young my father would take me to junk yards, I always loved rusty, crusty things with history and patina. As I have said before I have been out in the garden from as far back as I could remember. From my mother I get my love of nature, the outdoors, water, plants, earth. It is all me, it is all in here. It is in everything I do. And I love it.

This spread is from another one of Orly’s fabulous classes. As always click on the image for a larger view.
