She Is Not Who You Think She Is
Who do you think she* is? Tell me.
Today I took another wonderful class from Orly Avineri about street art in our art journals. It was amazing, wonderful, freeing and just plain ole fun. Just layers and layers and playing. Sheer bliss. Everyone had such a wonderful time. That is what art journaling should be about, fun, play, expression. I will always be taking classes and learning and growing.
You might notice this new format of the image. I am working in a new journal. It is smaller, more intimate. And a heck of a lot easier to work with. It is actually 9 X 7 inches in size.
Enjoy the summer!

Oh Brian, you’re sooooo lucky! Orly is my absolutely favorite art journaler and I would love to meet her! But but… I live a continent away. sigh.
Truly inspiring.
It was a divine day! It was fun to be there with you. I am still floating from the group street art experience. I have a photo of you that I’ll send you. Hope to see you again soon. xxo Irene
LOL! It’s the first “kit” I’ve come across in Orly’s workshops! =-)
I do love this spread Brian – though the first spread you created in the workshop was striking as well. I’m glad to see that the new size/format of your journal is now working for you.
Looking forward to seeing what else is created in this new journal!
Yep…love that one, and the other, and I bet all the ones coming up. So much fun…I ‘ve been journaling ever since…gotta take advantage of the messy table before it is tidied up…by me of course. It was fun seeing you and everyone having so much fun!!
