Black gesso, Nova Color acrylic paint, vintage paper and found objects, Sigano white gel pen.
Nothing says fun like spending the day with a good friend, sharing, challenging, laughing, and art journaling.
That was a load of fun, such a treat Brian…I love this bird, and the turtle, and the animals, and the colors, the contrast, and the lush! And you!!!
The colors are so delicious!! I especially like how the two sides balance together so well but are so completely different.
Brian- wonderful spread-I like Tom’s comment- both sides are different but you make it work with the black areas with white lines. The bird just pops with it’s complement blue around it.
I think we should do a book on chickens. They are appearing everywhere! So much fun Brian!
Hey Brian, I love using black gesso too. This spread definately calls to me. Can you tell me more about the brand of acrylic paint you used? Thanks.
Much appreciation for the comment on Seth’s blog about the painted grid project.
Very cool! And creating with friends IS the best thing …!
