Teaching at The Pacific Northwest Art School

class announcement - 72

I am excited to announce I will be teaching at the Pacific Northwest Art School on beautiful Whidbey Island, Washington. I will be teaching my class Personal Images on August 2-3 2014. I am excited to be joining my friends Orly Avineri and Terry Garrett who will also be teaching at there as well, click on their names for their class info and dates. You can find my class information here. If you have any questions regarding the class email me at bkasstle@icloud.com

Personal Images:

We all have images that we are drawn to, photographs and images that are personal to us.  It could be a certain animal, even a chair, or childhood photos we are drawn to.  In this two-day class we will explore our own personal images.  We will explore why and what makes these images important to us. Using layers of paper, and paint, and our pens we will explore, reveal and conceal pages that are meaningful to you.  We will explore image transfers to layer.  It is really all about you, your words, your images, your colors, and your mark making.  We will spend our days making your art journal pages uniquely about you.
