I am a Paper Bear

I am a paper bear!  I love paper!  I love vintage papers, scrapbook papers, tissue papers, newspaper, handmade papers, etc, etc, etc… I tend to hoard paper.  I am trying to be better and use “the good stuff” and share the wealth with my friends.  I go to swap meets, I scour the internet, etsy and ebay.  A good friend just sent me some vintage ledger paper that is over 100 years old!  It is lovely and thick so wonderful.  In fact I think I will go now and go play with some paper in my journal.  Have fun.  And as always if you would like to see a larger image of my spread click on the image.

What gorgeous pages you have created and shown. I love how the bright circle in the top left really pops over the muted colors in the rest of the two page spread. Your use of color is superb and you have a real eye for composition.

I love the circle of rainbow you created. I also love the brown background. Beautiful spread.
I realize now that paper can be an inspiration and not sust a tool.

Brian, The browns are lovely w/the vivid rainbow. When I visited my dad last week I stumbled upon some super cool old boxed accounting paper in the attic. Happy to see you posting again!

Nice pages! That’s the trick isn’t it? Using the “nice papers”! It’s hard to break down and actually cut or tear that wonderful paper but if you don’t, it just sits and becomes nothing.
